I was using the front end loader yesterday when I felt a "pop" or "snap" in the joystick. No hydraulic leaks. No other issues.

Now the joystick won't raise the loader. All other functions work fine. The joystick control will lower, dump and curl the bucket...just won't lift it. The joystick is completely limp...no resistance at all, when moving it to the rear (lift position).

I've removed the cover and boot around the joystick but don't see any obvious problems.

Of course the manual is of no use. I can't find an online diagram or parts catalog and can't call the dealer until Monday. Hoping someone might have some insight into what might be the issue.

Here's a few pics of the joystick control box (not sure what it's actually called). It appears to be a sealed unit. The cable that controls the inoperative cylinder appears to be attached properly at the hydraulic control manifold. I tried to loosen/remove the cable from the bad cylinder but it's still attached somewhere in the box. So I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Any advice or suggestions?

NM, I thought the 2 pics were different angles of the same part.

Mine doesn't have cables, the actual hydraulic valves are attached to the stick.

Yeah...it has a mechanical cable that runs from the joystick box to the hydraulic manifold. No hydraulics in the joystick mechanism in the cab.

So if the cable is still solidly attached at the joystick end, then make sure it is at the manifold.... if the cable is good there and it isn't broken in the middle, then the problem is inside the manifold...

ETA: could be helpful to look up a parts diagram to what is connected to what...

I don't even know the model of tractor, not that I'm familiar with what you've already posted.

Broken valve spring in manifold.

Broken valve spring in manifold.

OK...so the manifold is that black box in the second picture, correct? Any idea how that damn thing comes apart? It did feel like something broke so that was my first thought...but I have no experience fixing something like this. Or are you referring to the hydraulic manifold where all the loader hydraulic connections are?

I have nothing to contribute to this thread, I was just trying to get BG's attention for this: https://www.ar-15.co/threads/168844-CALLING-BAILEY-GUNS?p=2143079#post2143079.

Carry on, Gentlemen.
