Have a sig with a dark finished stainless slide. Is there a product that i could use to cover a scratch or two similar to cold blue touchup?

Not that I’m aware of. Unless someone can correct me on that.

If it’s a minor touch up job you might get away with using a Sharpie.

Or you could go full gonzo and strip the entire finish and just have a silver colored slide.

I haven't found a product that would work. I will try the sharpie. Does penmanship count?

Yes. But only because it’s a Sig. it wouldn’t matter if it was a Glock or whatever.

I looked in these guys a while back. Not sure if I'm super confident about it. And I haven't wanted to be the test mule.

Just send it back to SIG, do it right or deal with the fact that a pistol is a tool that is going to get used.
