Interesting piece of news. Valve's had people up in arms in the past about some of their different policies about publishing on Steam. For instance, they were pretty anti-nudity etc for a while, while letting stuff like "School Shooter" on (at least briefly).

Apparently, they're trying to go more hands-off, and will allow anything that isn't illegal or blatant trolling.

Frankly, I think this is the correct policy, in a "let the market decide" capacity. Of course, many whiners over at Kotaku (a very liberal bastion) don't like this, and apparently need Big Brother to censor games for them.

Kotaku is part of the old Gawker network so fuck every single person who works there down to and including the night janitor.

There are people that short the stock of any company that goes down the road to Social Justice Convergence and most of those guys are making money. Looks like Valve won't be making those people rich :)
