Basically, you know those stories of kids who get into legal trouble when they try to open a lemonaid stand, like not having a license, etc? Country Time's starting a program over the summer where if that happens to your kid, the parent can apply (with a short essay written by the kid) for some reimbursement, up to $300, up until Country Time spends $60k.

I think it's a positive note. I think those lawsuits/etc against the kids are ridiculous, and it's nice to see Country Time standing up to help these kids.

And check out the video at https://twitter.com/CountryTime/status/1004723588937732097 . I love the image of the kid, and the burly lawyers behind her!

How do these people in gubberment not understand the way this makes people look at government. It's nice to see Countrytime weigh in. Though they do have peel in the game.

I'm not even sure that Country Time has any real lemon in it.

But if we support Country Time's efforts in this by buying their product, then we cut into the kids' ability to turn a profit since everyone will have lemonade already. what kind of Machiavellian, kid-hating crap is this!?

A good portion of parents applying are going to write essays and forge their childs signature, then pocket the $. All while kiddo stays in the house playing xbox.

It's not just the essay, they have to upload the image of the permit/fine.

"To apply, simply upload the image of your child's permit or fine along with a description of what your lemonade stand means to your child, in his or her own words."

They understand perfectly, the majority of them are sociopaths. They're not stupid, but rather very smart and good at bullshiting a dumbed down electorate who believes their bullshit and it is a recipe for what we get. Virtually everything they do is to screw over the public in one way or another, to control and manipulate the public through the use of coercion, fear, and force. It's all the symptoms of a dumbed down, indoctrinated, doped up society. The vast majority of public is literally living in fear of the sociopathic scum.

Sociopathy seems to be rampant these days.....
