(From Facebook)

Chick-fil-A Larkridge, at Hwy 7 and I-25, is hosting a fundraiser for the Bigelow family, residents of Erie. Meghan Bigelow was taking her 3 sons to a routine dental appointment when they became the victims of road rage. Meghan and 2 of her sons were shot multiple times and her 13 year old son was killed. Meghan and her 8 year old son are still in critical condition in the hospital.

Please join us in helping this family. Beginning this Saturday, June 23rd through June 30, 2018, we will donate $1.00 for every chocolate chunk cookie purchased to the Bigelow family. (Only at Chick-fil-A Larkridge.)

That family picture is rough.

I really hope the perp receives some "extra justice" since the death penalty appears off the table nowadays.

I've been boiling mad on the road before, but I'm still unclear how, in anyones mind, shooting over a road rage situation - where YOUR/your passengers (if you had any) life isn't in danger seems like a good idea. I especially can't grasp shooting at unarmed children.

We've got some very disturbed people out there these days and I fear it's only going to get worse.

RIP for the young man who died and prayers out for the family.

Very sad and unnecessarily tragic.

This is tragic, but you never exit your vehicle in a possible road rage situation. Call 911 and drive to the nearest officer you can find. They were only a couple miles from a station. I'll repeat, never, ever, exit your vehicle to confront someone in a road rage situation.
