hope this is the right spot, but im waiting on a gemtech one and decided to get some quick attach muzzle devices.

I got https://gemtech.com/5-56mm-flash-hider-1-2-28.html and it came with shims. aside from having a consist location to attach a can, why would the device need to be clocked? instructions online show that the largest flange should be at the 12'oclock.....

IIRC all of them come with shims. Since yours is an open (A1 style) flash hider, there's no need to clock / index it to where say a brake might need to be set. Install w/out shims and call it good.

It does have those MP5ish lugs, maybe it matters which way those are sitting.

That’s what I thought, just checking to make sure I’m not missing something

If you need any Rokset when you install that, let me know. I have some you are MORE than welcome to. I bought a bottle to spin on a few AAC brakes and have 99% of the bottle left. I'm in Westminster.

appreciate the offer colorider

- is that stuff you need to soak for a day or so to get off? you happy with it compared to locktite?

Only needs to soak for about 30 mins then it will bust loose. Locktite is designed to loosen when heated so it does not work as well in this application in my experience.
