View Full Version : CCW at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Anyone know their policy? I read something online about no “open carry”, but the post was a few years old. Just seeing if anything’s changed

It's been about a year since I've been to Cheyenne, but no problems then, and I doubt anything has changed.
I carry there all the time, never had a problem. Don’t know the exact rules though. Let’s just say I don’t follow the signs...

Open Cary scares the animals. [Flower]
Denver Zoo is fine for CCW as well.
Yep, we go regularly, no metal detectors, no signs other than the aforeposted. Conceal carry with ease.
I carry there all the time, never looked for signs :)

Denver zoo has a sign that says no firearms allowed. They do not have metal detectors, so concealed is concealed.

Considering the area it's located, extra mags may be required.
The area around the Denver Zoo is pretty nice actually.

I think my neighborhood is probably worse than around the zoo. Wasn't always that way, and it doesn't take many blocks to get worse in some directions, but I can say with 100% conviction that I'd rather have my kid walk alone outside near the zoo than 16th Street Mall.

Have done so there many times.
