I have a question about the license and I couldn't figure out where to post it, so if this is the wrong spot, I apologize.

So there is some pretty specific language in the FFL application that the C&R FFL can't be used to conduct business:

"and its purpose is to facilitate a personal collection. You may NOT engage in the business of buying and selling any type of firearm with a
type 03 license. Applicants intending to engage in the firearms business should apply for a license other than a Type 03, Collector of Curios and
Relics, license."

Does this forbid you from ever selling anything you take in on your license? Or just from using the license for buying and selling on a regular basis like a business would? I would assume the latter, but you never know with our government.

Latter. It's to prevent a C&R person from skirting the other regs, fees, etc. that a regular FFL would be subject to as a dealer FFL. But it doesn't stop a C&R from buying and/or selling at will -- so long as it is from your personal collection rather than as a dealer/business.

2nd paragraph under heading title "Introduction" (pg 3 in the online PDF from my view) deals directly with your question.

Thank you sir. Just got the printed version of that book from the ATF. Sitting down to read it this weekend.
