My Tahoe got sideswiped (left rear door & driver’s door) in a grocery store parking lot, no note or any idea who. The body shop I like wants $1600 to fix the two doors. It’s an ‘03, great shape but I’d like to try those big suction cup dent pullers before I drop $500 after insurance on it. Frankly they’re not terribly noticeable but them being there bug me.
Grocery store said their loss prevention people need the popo to look at the video. Filed a police report in case I file a claim, told the officer I didn’t expect any more time expended on it. The camera quality evidently is pretty poor and shows such a wide angle that if they tried to zoom in it pixelates too much to read license plates.
Figured I’d try paintless repair depending on price. Thanks for any recommendations.
