What are the options for a long/narrow roof rack basket

I have not seen a basket style that wasn't about that wide. Looks like spec on yours is 30 inches. I'd try trading it for a Rocket box. Better aerodynamics and weather resistance.
You could cut yours down depending on how handy you are.

I misspoke, mine is the MegaWarrior at 48" wide, which is basically dominating the roof of my vehicle.

Just looked that up. That's exactly what I'm after....but will need to save my allowance for a while on that one.
