Colorado State GSSF Glock match August

August 10,11, & 12th Weld County Fish and Wildlife will host the GSSF match. As always, Glock gives away a lot of cash and guns.

This match is the most well run GSSF match I have attended. Wayne has the Match Directing thing down to an art.

As long as Uncle Sam doesn't have me out of town, it is always on my "must shoot" list.

One time Hoser talked me into going to a match I wasn't planning on. I trekked all the way down there and looked like a dummy asking everyone when he was going to show up all night. One lady was like, "Hoser? We haven't seen him in years!"

As predicted I got there too late to help with set up as Wayne and his awesome crew had everything all set up in record time. Each berm has 3 stages set up on them so people won't spend all day waiting in line to shoot a stage. I shot Unlimited, Heavy Metal and Master Stock. First round to last round took maybe 30 minutes.

While the stages have not changed much over the past 15-20 years that I have been shooting GSSF matches, they are still fun and challenging.

Next year Maybe is moving the match date up a few weeks to mid July. Good news for sure.

Free gun cert showed up today. Joy. Now to figure out what new Glock to pick.

Congrats to LimitedGM. Not only was he busy being a Match Director, but he also dethroned Brian Dover as the "King of every GSSF match he enters" by handing him his ass. Not only is that an accomplishment because Brian is a solid shooter, but Wayne was also busy running a Regional GSSF match. Keeping focused on shooting while wearing the MD hat isn't easy. I tried it twice and decided it isn't something I am willing to do again.

Lastly, thanks to Wayne for being the MD yet again.
