Is reloading in the garage a bad idea?

I have room for a decent reloading and work bench in the garage, but am concerned about temperature changes throughout the year affecting components and loaded ammunition.

Many years and it hasn't affected anything I've reloaded. My fingers and toes get cold during the winter though.

We are dry enough in CO that it won't affect anything. Even at 50% rH, there is less water in the air in CO than 30% at sea level. Powder and primers degradation occurs at much higher temperatures than you will ever get in a garage.

I used to reload in the garage as well. Other than getting cold fingers from touching the cold brass, never had an issue.

Now I have an unfinished basement that works much better :)

Never had an issue loading in the garage, but the spouse had a mini-split put in for a b-day present a few years back. I do miss that garage, the stat not so much.

It's tough to get a good thermostat now a days.
