Sharks only attack people if they're wet.

I could use a beach vacation. For diving we had a bump stick loaded with a .444...pull the pin & push against the attacker. I never seen it used.

We used a 12ga version... called a bang stick, with an elastic band at the other end, used to launch it like a spear... shell would be pushed into a fixed firing pin, and bang... you lose your hearing.

Not to be confused with a boom stick, primitive screw heads!

Wait... Does the shark need to be wet or does the person attacked need to be wet?

So identifying as dry would work? Or do sharks not fall for that phony balogne bullshit? Probably not. Sharks seem way more pragmatic than that.

Maybe identify as dret?

So you don't need to be in the water ?

Is being in the rain "in the water"? More evidence for land shark.

I'd say this is a fairly accurate statement but I counter you with the fact that alligators don't care if you're wet or dry and many of the southern beaches have alligators somewhere nearby.

I've found that dried sharks are far less intimidating.

I've also found that the MSM likes to hype shark attacks almost as much as shootings in schools. They probably have wet dreams about shark attacks in schools.

Fish schools are constantly facing the threat of shark attacks.

I mean, look at this assault shark. It's banana republic military grade.

The only sharks I want to see have grill marks on both sides.

Dry + wet = dret

Just poking fun at those that say "theybies" instead of babies and such.

Ironic follow up - I looked at Facebook and there was a discussion about Theybies

One response I liked:
By definition, "THEY" is plural...would this only apply to twins , triplets, and more? Would single births be called "ITBIES"?
