El Presidente Maduro was interrupted during a speech today. Looks like possibly an airborne explosion. Here's the video.

It was probably just an explosion of economic prosperity.

3 fire officials stated it was an explosion of a gas tank in the high rise building across the street...and that's what the pictures look like. Maduro is probably trying to get some sympathy for doing such a lousy job.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro dodged an apparent assassination attempt when drones armed with explosives detonated while he was delivering a speech to hundreds of soldiers being broadcast live on television, officials said.

I read a different article that stated Venezuela's inflation was estimated to be 1 million percent this year. Their economy is similar to Germany's in 1923.

Saw a news brief on TV
When someone was asked how they buy something in Venezuela, since the currency is inflating about 10% a day, the response was US Dollars.
The government is supporting the cryptocurrency, Petro's.
The petro, or petromoneda, launched in February 2018, is a cryptocurrency developed by the government of Venezuela.
Announced in December 2017, it is claimed to be backed by the country's oil and mineral reserves, and it is intended to supplement Venezuela's plummeting bolívar fuerte currency, purportedly as a means of circumventing U.S. sanctions and accessing international financing.

But, but... Venezuela is a socialist nation which is good for everyone; what could possibly go wrong with that? /sarcasm
