National Forest lands, not posted and off major roadways are also legal for shooting, as are national grasslands. But the closest facilities to the Springs proper are CMSC, and private gunstore/ranges like Magnum up north or Dragonman's out east.

Just check for fire related conditions before shooting on public lands. Don’t use exploding targets, trace or incendiary ammunition, etc... the Calirodans taking over the state don’t need any incidents to assist their efforts to prohibit gun use on public lands.
