At 6 a.m. Tuesday, the Lone Tree police responded to reports of a man pushing a woman into a vehicle in the parking lot of 9374 Willow St. and driving away, according to a news release from the city of Lone Tree. Police interviewed witnesses at the scene to gather information.

Around 8:30 a.m., the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a woman running away from a man and asking for help in the parking lot of Tony’s Market, at 874 Happy Canyon Road in Castle Pines, according to the release.

Deputies arrested the male suspect, who has been identified as Paul E. Nader, 29, and located the woman.

She got away but was sexually assaulted based on the charges.

He is a registered sex offender from Colorado Springs. He pled guilty in 2013 to sex assault on a child by a person in position of trust and sex exploitation of a child by possessing a video of more than 20 different items qualifying as sexually exploitative material. In addition, two women have protective orders against him.

168 grains of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Be aware, be safe, and tell your family.

Crazy. And yes, the death penalty is not utilized enough for sexual offenders -- especially of child abusers.

Rehabilitation is not possible with these predators. If any person is convicted of forced sex on any child beyond a reasonable doubt, that person should be executed.

I think there would be a line. It's execution by firing squad, and I jump the gun and shoot him in the junk. "Oops, my bad. I need another cartridge and a 'do over'."

Looks like her husband has confessed. Supposedly will take leo to where he hid them, so sad, unfortunately I’m not surprised.

I heard a short interview he did while they were looking for them. It was immediately obvious to me he should be the #1 suspect. What he said and the way he said it just wasn't what a husband who was scared for his family would say.

Agreed. Near everything he said in each interview could have been prefixed with: I did something awful or I killed them & ...

Strange...

Affidavit: Kidnapping, sexual assault suspect claimed woman 'wanted him to kidnap her at knifepoint'

https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/crime/affidavit-kidnapping-sexual-assault-suspect-claimed-woman-wanted-him-to-kidnap-her-at-knifepoint-

The man arrested for kidnapping a woman at knifepoint and sexually assaulting her told police it was a planned meetup, according to an affidavit.

[snip]

A detective interviewed the woman, who was taken to a hospital for evaluation. She said she had never met the man, but he approached her at the Starbucks parking lot asking for directions. She looked at her phone and he pulled a knife and held it to her side, pushing her into the passenger seat.

[snip]

He sexually assaulted her, punched the woman in the face and continued to tell her he was going to rape her.

When authorities questioned Nader, he said the meeting was “prearranged through a fetish app” on his phone and that the woman "wanted him to kidnap her at knifepoint." Authorities did not find any such app on his phone.

Sounds like BS.

Also shows you just can't help people. I'm guilty of this too... Looking down my phone to help someone find something and my eyes are off them. Distance is closed and even if the person is a stranger, the interaction looks normal.
