To have printed targets overlaying prominant political figures?

Specifically the gun grabbers, former POTUS, future candidates, SCOTUS?

Would the SS come knocking on my door if I used them at a public range?

Could I use the 1st Amendment and political satire as a defence?

Ffs, comedians get away with far worse.

I have never seen, so i am asking for serious reasons. Cant be any different than bad mouthing them on the inet for stress relief. I would probably miss them since I couldn't stand to look at them up close.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm going to comment anyway. Certain things are classless, and fall under the "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category. I prefer to live a drama free life, but that doesn't mean you have to....

I have seen targets with jihadists, and figured these politicians are fairly equivalent in threatening our freedoms. So why not combine the 1st and 2nd in a form of protest against their tyranny.

I can remember reading about the Secret Service getting interested in targets with the POTUS on them in the past, don't know if that applies to former POTUS as well. Not really helpful as I don't remember the outcome for certain--I think a gun store wound up losing it's stock of presidential targets but nobody went to jail IIRC. My internet searching is weak and lazy today.

There are double standards in place, and the opposition is waiting in the bushes to leap out and snap a photo so they can use us as examples. Is it fair? Of course not . We all know life is not fair.

Personally, I would not do that. Even caricatures would be stepping beyond the 'sociably acceptable' parameters, which is why most targets you will find available to be 'nameless' figures like big burly bad guys aiming a gun back at you, cartoon jihadists/terrorists, or other cartoon-like drawings. And yes,I get that you say you don't give a fvck about offending anyone, and you have no class....but if that were the case,we would be hearing about this on the evening news instead of you asking about it here.

I'm glad you chose that path; I find this forum to be populated with a number of people that are outside of a situation and can offer advice and opinions and reasons that one might not have thought of. I understand your idea and reasoning, but I think in this instance, restraint is the real winner.

Well, no one seemed offended, the SS didnt show up, the range officer laughed and asked where I got them from, the sheriff deputy didn't care or stop.

Targets of Schumer, Polis, Bloomberg, Feinstein, Pelosi and Obama.

This was 3 weeks ago at the Byers canyon range.

No LEO or government goon has showed up at my place. I've flown twice.

I have a sense of humor that isn't always humored so I think I understand the sentiment in the 'joke' as benign, but when it comes down to being an 'agent' or 'representative' of the firearms community, I'm all business & no B.S. I love this hobby & I will defend my constitutional right (to it) as there ARE folk who are hell bent to take it away from us all.

I'm not one for letting another's opinion weigh much into what I say or do because I afford them the same courtesy as I expect - I am not the thought police. Also within the Community there are people, surely some here on this forum, that in any other situation would have nothing to say to one another or have much in common by measure & hell, might not even like each other.

All that said, on this 'optic topic' we as a community must work for the preservation of it and we agree that fundamentals matter. You my friend need to step up your game.
