Haven't been around in a while... Real busy with the Suburban garden and learning how to keep bees.

Been working on my Bug out rig. Would love to see Pics of all yours!

Excellent setup - I'm very jealous.

If I posted a picture it would just be a picture of my truck sitting in the driveway. Nothing special.

Not going anywhere. I will weld up more steel to fortify if necessary. I used to be a bug-out planner. Then came to the realization of just where would I go? Pivoted to large property away from most. Build a property rather than a vehicle. YMMV.

And yeah, not really my gate. Actual pic on need to know only. [Coffee]

I was wondering where in Weld that could even be.

We had most everything planned out years ago. Now that I am retired that notion went away. Had a place and set up for a year without support. 98 12V dodge 5 speed. EMP proof and could roll/push start without a battery. ;-)86594

This could be a fun thread. Used to have an 84 Military Blazer, which was awesome. It's been several years that I had the extra money to do a BOV. Hoping to maybe do a suburban or something like that in the future.

I have been looking at suburban as well something like this

I think the general overland community is totally sleeping on Suburbans. They have a lot of space and go for dirt cheap. Plenty of available parts, very common, etc.

The nice thing about suburbans is they have enough room in back for me to lay down. I'd consider another if I ever could find a 6.5 stick 4x4. Possibly a 6.2 and swap it.

Suburbans with the manual transmissions are rare. I think you couldn't even get the manual as an option starting in the late 80s or early 90s.

Picture a 2013 Town and Country with a solar panel on the roof running a refrigerator inside. Keep dead things fresh.

Perfect urban camouflage for Boulder.
