Another hurricane is about to batter our coast. Trump is complicit.

Yet when it comes to extreme weather, Mr. Trump is complicit. He plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks. It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change. But there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earth’s systems to produce disasters.

This was too stupid to put in Politics IMHO. They're setting up for the field so they can dance in the human misery/suffering and lay it all on Trump should Flo live up to expectations.

You can read the piece but there is no solid connection between the neurons firing in Donald Trump's brain and weather patterns. I guess he's not a wizard.

By bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US, and thus under EPA enforcement, Trump is actually doing something positive for envirotards. That's never mentioned.

I thought W was blamed for all the dead black people but not the actual storm?

That and flying over in a helicopter while people were suffering. He was supposed to put on a pair of waders and pass out drinking water.

And gas prices.

I sincerely believe we are in a low-intensity civil war. It may not be a war of violence (for the most part...though the left seems hell-bent on changing that) just yet but it's definitely a war of ideals and vision. Those once considered the "lunatic fringe" of the left are now mainstream as are their ideas. The same ideas that have been tried, without success, all over the world.

The corruption of the media, the schools and universities and even many parts of the government is unprecedented. I really don't thing there are enough adjectives to describe how far gone the left really is. They are just detached from reality.

There were protesters @ Curtis Road & Hwy 94 Monday and Tuesday afternoon. This intersection catches over 99% of the traffic to/from Schriever AFB.

There was an idiot who kept getting out into the traffic of Hwy 94 to pass out fliers to drivers (I was able to avoid him but he was backing up traffic for over 1/2 mile). There were also a couple of people with a big sign made out of a white bed sheet. I took note of the 2 URL's listed on the sheet so I could try to figure out what their "Treason at Schriever AFB" protest was all about.

Essentially, they are claiming that the .gov is using microwave weapons on satellites on U.S. citizens and these are being controlled from Schriever AFB. Additionally, they claim that the 9/11 "Truthers" don't even get what happened on 9/11 as it was a microwave weapon that took down the Twin Towers (destroyed them by "dustification").

While I get that we have some real nut jobs that believe some far fetched stuff, this was one of the tops I've seen. Because of this stuff, when I saw how WaPo was saying Trump is "complicit" in causing Hurricane Florence, I wasn't phased at all. These left wing idiots want us to buy into their lunacy by choice or by force. Sad thing is, they're only getting started.

The true nuts are neither left nor right. They go the opposite of whoever is in the white house. When Obama was in the white house they usually aligned with the right, with Trump they align with the left.

Their confused brains are a mixture of just plain stupidity, pop-culture conspiracy nonsense (i.e. "X files" silliness) and a level of credulity and gullibility that is hard for normal people to imagine. Their mantra is "I'm just asking questions!" while being immune to reason, logic, real science, the laws of physics, etc.

BTW this stuff predates the internet by quite a bit. Back in the mid 1990's when the WWW was just getting started, I was on a few dial-up message boards (anybody remember those? ) At that time Clinton was in office and the AWB had just passed so the nutters aligned themselves with the right. There were people who would INSIST that there were secret bases in the central US that housed 200,000 UN troops, ready to swoop down and confiscate guns and (I assume) deprive us all of our precious bodily fluids.

Every now and then they'd see a train load of M113 armored personnel carriers headed to Bosnia and painted UN white and they'd absolutely lose their shit. It was actually kind of funny to see.

My memory must be bad... I forgot W used his Hurricane Steerer to murder all those black people. How he got it to skip over all the white people was quite an engineering feat!

More controversy over Puerto Rico today. Apparently locals sat on aid and Trump dismissed the death count. So, he's probably responsible for that. Like W, he should have been making sure these supplies got distributed, even though PR wants to third world.

Obama blasts GOP: They ‘put up with crazy’ (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/obama-blasts-gop-they-‘put-up-with-crazy’/ar-BBNiMCd)

He referred to "political darkness" that has descended on politics and blasted "demagogues," commenting that good leaders get the job done rather than tweeting to take credit for it.

Obama talking shit, as usual. It's easy to see the difference to determine who's telling the truth.

Look at numbers: GDP growth, unemployment, wages, food stamp recipients.

Obama said things like losing manufacturing jobs was the new normal.

Trump said bring back manufacturing.

It's glaringly obvious to anyone looking to objectively compare the records of the two men who the real leader and doer is.

They can debate the stats/facts all day long, but no one has a hurricane machine. And especially not one that targets people on skin color.

I think a bigger problem with this specific lunacy is that politicians don't want to admit is that the gov can't solve all the problems. Collectivism can't completely mitigate the consequences of a natural disaster. No one even admits this. Instead there is a real belief that the amount of FEMA funding directly correlates to the number of people who will survive.

It doesn't matter who is president, when a hurricane hits the coast, people are going to suffer and die. People die in CO every winter too.

I don't think gov can really manage the entire economy either. The success we see now is Trump taking his hands off producers and creating positive consequences for people creating value in the US. Similar to "you didn't build that," we can't credit the gov for the creation of businesses and we can only credit Trump for letting things work, not doing the actual work.

Florence death toll at 15, including 2 from carbon monoxide (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/florence-death-toll-at-15-including-2-from-carbon-monoxide/ar-BBNpl3o)

Carbon monoxide? Really? Why did you do that Donald Trump?

—A driver died Sunday when a pickup truck struck an overpass support beam in Kershaw County, South Carolina, state troopers said.

—23-year-old Michael Dalton Prince died Sunday after the truck he was riding in lost control on a flooded two-lane road in Georgetown County, South Carolina, said Coroner Kenny Johnson. The driver and another passenger escaped after the truck landed upside down in a flooded ditch.

—63-year-old Mark Carter King and 61-year-old Debra Collins Rion of Loris, South Carolina, died of carbon monoxide poisoning from running a generator indoors, authorities said

—A husband and wife died in a Fayetteville, North Carolina, house fire Friday

—A mother and her 8-month-old child were killed when a massive tree crushed their brick house Friday in Wilmington, North Carolina

—An 81-year-old man died while trying to evacuate Wayne County, North Carolina, on Friday

— A 78-year-old man was electrocuted in the rain while trying to connect extension cords for a generator in Lenoir County, North Carolina

—A 77-year old man died after he went outside to check on his hunting dogs and was blown down by strong winds

—Three people died in Duplin County, North Carolina, because of flash flooding and swift water on roadways

—61-year-old Amber Dawn Lee died late Friday when the vehicle she was driving struck a tree near the town of Union, South Carolina

Authorities say the storm did not cause some other deaths that occurred during Florence in North Carolina: a woman who died of undetermined causes in a shelter, a woman who suffered a heart attack at home during the storm, and a couple whose apparent murder-suicide was investigated during hurricane conditions in Otway.

Florence death toll at 17, including 3-month-old (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/florence-death-toll-at-17-including-3-month-old/ar-BBNpl3o)

Trump hates babies.

The death toll attributed to Florence stands at 17, including 11 in North Carolina and six in South Carolina.

—30-year-old Rhonda R. Hartley died early Sunday after driving a pickup truck into standing water near Gilbert, South Carolina, losing control and hitting a tree, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.

—A 3-month-old baby boy died when a large pine tree fell atop a mobile home, splitting it in the middle, according to Police Capt. Jon Leatherwood in Gaston County, North Carolina. Leatherwood said the boy's father and mother were home but were not hurt.

—42-year-old Jeffrey B. Youngren of Elgin, South Carolina, died Sunday when a pickup truck hit a bridge piling in Kershaw County, said Coroner David West, who added that weather "played a big part" in the death.

Hurricane Florence, Culmination of Exploitation of Natural Events by Government, Extremists, and Business (https://wattsupwiththat.com/2018/09/16/hurricane-florence-culmination-of-exploitation-of-natural-events-by-government-extremists-and-business/)

The east coast of America experienced a storm surge, heavy rain, flooding, and strong winds that blew down trees. Also, regrettably, a few people who live in the area lost their lives. These are all normal events, except the loss of lives which only began after people occupied the region. In fact, the total impact was below the normal for long-term averages of hurricanes in this region. Being surprised by the impacts of a hurricane in this region is like being surprised by flooding when you live on a floodplain.

The whole story of hurricane Florence underscores the degree of corruption of natural events for a political agenda. All the players, from the bureaucrats at the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), through the media, and the historical role of Insurance companies, created misinformation, misused and omitted data, to nakedly distort the reality. They took a perfectly normal, well within even brief historical sequence event, and turned it into a never before seen monster.

The role of NOAA in this is further evidence of their collusion in the deception that is anthropogenic global warming (AGW). With Florence, they got almost everything wrong. The computer model predictions of the path and strength were wrong even in such a short distance and in 48 hours; a period for which they claim a high level of accuracy. They claimed the hurricane path was very unusual because it was further north than usual. No, it wasn’t. I was in Bermuda in the early 1960s when we were forced to evacuate because of a hurricane moving in.

On Wednesday the 12th I did four radio programs across America explaining what was wrong with the hype and predictions about hurricane Florence. By Wednesday evening they already downgraded Florence from a Category 4 to a Category 2, and it came ashore barely as a Category 1. In fact, it was amusing to see how long they continued to report it with wind speeds of 75 mph because if it was 74 mph, it was no longer a hurricane. NOAA control the wind speed determinations with their estimates from one or two flights above the hurricane from which, using models they estimate surface speed. We know these are consistently higher than reality, but a higher speed allows for a higher hurricane category and greater media attention.

The major story with Florence was the level of exploitation and hype by every segment of society all driven by the so-called experts getting it wrong. In just that one small region of the world with a reasonable supply of information, several computers gave different paths and potential outcomes. The idea that a cone of potential paths is somehow helpful or is an improvement is laughable. All you have to do is look at the tracks of all previous hurricanes and with a known starting point draw a cone. It doesn’t need a computer. The truth is the forecasters got the most important parts of the dynamics wrong.

Trump hates babies.

So given that list, the catastrophic death toll shows Trump is killing people who might have died in the region had there not been a storm.

It's like Trump is double-killing people!

63-year-old Mark Carter King and 61-year-old Debra Collins Rion of Loris, South Carolina, died of carbon monoxide poisoning from running a generator indoors

These people made it 60 years without making bad choices. Until Trump.

Bingo!

Drive too fast, hydroplane and crash....Trump's fault. Getting electrocuted connecting extension cords in the wet....Trump's fault.

I think the electric hair dryer manufacturers were preparing for Trump when they started equipping them with circuit breakers and enough warning labels attached to the cord to make a pamphlet.

I'm pretty sure that it's Trump's fault there's so much distracted driving going on these days.

Which worked until Trump changed the way electrons work so they would kill more people. He's an idiot and evil genius at the same time.

The distracted drivers are busy tweeting as part of the #Resistance. They wouldn't have to if Trump hadn't stolen the election as he has so many lives.

Trump is complicit (https://wattsupwiththat.com/2018/09/16/the-washington-posts-slander-on-hurricanes-and-climate-change/)

The Washington Post editorial board has accused President Trump of being “complicit” in Hurricane Florence, because “he plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks” of “extreme weather,” and “he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks.” Such weather, they say, is fueled by manmade global warming that creates “unusually warm ocean water” that worsens hurricanes. The board finishes by declaring that Trump and Republicans are guilty of “reality denial” on this issue.

So nobody is blaming Stormy Daniels or the space aliens ? Then what is happening in Sunspot, New mexico? FBI has been to the solar observatory and it is now closed ?

Closure of National Solar Observatory explained (https://wattsupwiththat.com/2018/09/20/closure-of-national-solar-observatory-explained/)

And it isn’t what anyone thought in previous speculations, which included aliens, strange celestial objects, NASA’s recent launch of a solar probe, or a mercury spill from the “float bearing” of the main telescope. No, it’s far worse than any of those things.

From KTSM-TV in El Paso:

By Aaron Bracamontes

A federal search warrant reveals that Sunspot Solar Observatory was shut down as FBI agents conducted computer forensic searches for child pornography.

The source of child pornography was traced to an IP address used at the observatory and a source within the building observed a computer with “not good” images on it, the warrant states.

An investigation by the FBI revealed that a janitor is the main suspect in the search, however he has not been charged with a crime even though his name is on the warrant.

The warrant states the suspect would use the observatory Wifi and a personal laptop to download the child pornography.

A limited number of people have access to the observatory from dusk until dawn, which helped narrow their search.

The observatory in the mountains of southern New Mexico had been closed since Sept. 6 because of an undisclosed security concern, but reopened on Monday.
