This is the 3rd time I've come out of a store to find a Post It note that says "please call me" on my car driver's side door. This time was at a Walmart.
The first two were obviously printed (to look like hand written) but not actually hand written so I knew they were fake immediately. This time looks hand written. However, there were three other cars nearby with the same notes.
I'm half tempted to call it to find out WTF.
Anyone seen this before?

A quick google search seems to show it’s Innerspace Floor & Hunter Douglas Window Castle Rock, CO. 200 Wilcox St #216

Which is "permanently closed" according to Google when you search on the name.
So I would assume someone got the old number.

Probably just more of a sales lead tactic than a scam. Or could be both.
There are many scams around this but the one I am familiar with is that they say you hit them in the parking lot and want your insurance information or they will call the police. Essentially they are trying to gather as much info as possible to steal your identity.

Type: Non-Fixed VoIP (e.g. Skype or Google Voice)
Original carrier: Global Crossing Local Services, Inc.-co
Not attached to any company and VoIP, so dialing the number could land you anywhere in the world. I'd just pull it off my car and drop it in the lot. If the people that own the lot will allow solicitors to put that crap on your car, then they can afford to pick up the trash that comes from it. If they get tired of cleaning up the mess, maybe they'll keep the solicitors out.

And this is why I have a dash cam. It won't record everything. But it catches most of it. I leave it running in the parking lots too.

Next, you can borrow a phone at the bar, call the number, and see who answers.

Which once called, uses your ph # to robo call who knows how many people.
They grab everybody's number. Area + 7 digits....any 7 digits. If somebody happens to be assigned those 7 digits, they don't care.

Is your windshield broken/chipped/cracked? I received one of these and called - it was for a windshield repair/replacement lead.
