I recommend that whenever possible, when linking news stories, try to use the BBC Pidgin page.

Wow I’m an idiot. Pidgin.... not pigeon. I was reading thinking that’s not how pigeons talk. Then I kind of started arguing with myself about how a pigeon would talk. Obviously crows caw and cats have the lolz..... funny how the brain works.

Pidgin is a lingua Franca in the South Pacific.
Pidgin languages are used all over the world. I think the BBC page is more focused to Nigerian Pidgin, based on the stories presented and that Nigeria was part of the British Commonwealth.
