Apparently Gary Sinise has a foundation that is dedicated to helping veterans and first responders. I thought it was pretty cool.

Sinise has always been a good guy. That's why he got busted down to working in TV.

Gary Sinise is amazing. He used to work with Tunnel to Towers with building smart homes for wounded vets. He now has his own as shown because they were not building enough for what he wanted. Great guy and he was behind a friends home in NC.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sinise when he came to Trinidad for a Vietnam memorial unveiling. We were standing in our class A's waiting for the unveiling to begin when he walked up. The city manager got between us and him trying to shake his hand, he walked around the city manger and to straight to us to shake our hands and thank us for our service. He stayed and talked with us for a good 15 minutes, and he is a real down to earth guy. If I remember right, he was in Co springs to play for his band and heard abut the unveiling and decided to come down.

This +1000. My older son got to see them during one of his deployments to the shit hole of the world. Couldn't stop talking about how great Sinise and his band were to them.
