I wonder if the gas pistol slowing down the slide will be noticeable enough to hinder shooters capable of very fast splits. I also wonder if having the sights be on a fixed part of the gun will noticeably increase sight picture acquisition.

I'm following this too. Very cool concept and design. A couple of concerns for me are:

1. Magazines. It would appear they use a CZ style of mag which is great, but Glock mags would be better IMO.
2. Price point. Like the Hudson H9 - super pricey for what it is.
3. Weight. Probably not gonna be a carry piece.
4. Longevity. Will they come out with carry / compact models? Will they be able to survive in the competitive market?.
5. Reliability. I want to see a torture test done on this.

Doubt you’ll ever see a compact pistol. They seem to be marketed to the IPSC and USPSA shooters. Some have said they might use CZ magazines or a variant of them. They told me last year the target price point is $2K to compete with the 2011 pistols.
