I’ve been to the one in greeley and handful of times and it’s a really nice gym. My only problem is they don’t open until 5am and it is a madhouse from 5am-7am and 5pm-8pm.

Just ditched 24 hour and thought about checking out Vasa, but ended up going to Chuze up the road. Really nice gym that exceeds the price point IMO. Should have given up 24hr long ago.

I go to aspire and they are going to shit now that Vasa opened up down the street. Literally no employees during the day, rapidly deteriorating equipment. Tax lean notices going on the door

Oh shit haha, that's kind of funny. I kept a membership there and WOW for awhile but they started going down hill a year or so after they opened. I was never real impressed with them but for $10/month I couldn't complain.

I've been at 24 Hr for years. Has it's downsides, but I go at 5am when it's not very crowded and there are 3 nice clubs within about 15 minutes of my house and they are all over when I travel.

I miss the old Peak Athletic Club that used to be on County Line. Had that awesome "black iron" lifting room.

Had that awesome "black iron" lifting room.I don't really have any issues with 24hr as a club, and I do like that their gyms are plentiful, but the gym closest to me was lacking, specifically in that they only had two squat racks and I work out at peak AM hours. I could have driven a few miles further and there is one with more equipment, but I just discovered a program through my health insurance that allows me access to 10,000+ gyms and rec centers across the country, for $29 a month, so my situation is somewhat unique in that respect. My ditching 24hr wasn't really a knock on them, just a better opportunity arose for me.

For you older guys with a medicare supplemental like United Health Care you get a Silver Sneaker card that allow free membership with several fitness centers. I go to Westminster fitness center for free several times a week.

I go to Westminster fitness center for free several times a week.According to the gal at my local rec center, my "healthways" program through Blue Cross Blue Shield is the non retired version of silver sneakers, and she was quite impressed that my employer offered it, as, in her words "many of the retired folks can't wait to reach age 60, so they can use it", of course I still pay $29 a month, but I'd be paying that either way, just for a single club membership.

FYI my wife has something on her health care insurance provided by her employer (BC&BS I believe) that gives her I think $200ish per year for working out. She has the coach sign some form after each class and after so many she turns them in and they pay her out twice a year & I think the amount is $200 each time. She said that most insurance companies offer something similar but it's buried on their website usually. This way they can advertise it to attract new victims... I mean clients... but most people quickly forget about it after they're signed up or give up when they can't find it buried in the website. If you take the time to find it though it's free money.

I suspect I would have stayed with 24hr for that price, but mine was that per month.

I buy my 24 fitness through Costco. I pay $400 for 2 years. It's a really good deal. I just let my membership expire after 2 years, than buy another membership through Costco. You don't have to be a member, but you do pay a little more like $ 25.

I think it's nationwide, but limits the kind of clubs you can go to? Like I don't think you can use Southglenn or the other "SuperSports" locations?

Also, I think you're only supposed to be able to get that deal once and some clubs won't let you "renew" those through Costco again. I have done it twice for the kids, though, so I think it depends on the club and how much the managers care about enforcing the policy. The guy I talked with shrugged his shoulders and just created a new membership for both without batting an eye.
