I've only been in Aurora for a few months and am looking for somewhere to shoot. AR, Pistol, .308 scoped bolt gun and my M1A. I have a couple of questions.

1. Did they get the issues with the board members sorted out. I read another thread that they had some changes in the works. Just wondering how the place is running.
2. Would my status as a 50% service connected disabled veteran exempt me from the $100 annual work bond fee?
3. Is it OK to park my jeep and set up a tent overnight anywhere on site? Are camp fires and/or BBQ grills permitted?

I've always lived in a rural enough area that I just shot on BLM land. I've never been a member of an actual club.
Thanks in advance,

The Work Bond Fulfillment System
All active members fall in to one of the following categories regarding their workbond obligation:

Normal
Exempt – Members who fall into one of the following categories are permanently excused from performing work or having to pay the workbond fee:
o Resident outside Colorado, or greater than 150 miles.
o Age 65 or older
o Permanent Disability
Excused – Members may request to be excused from work. This status must be requested each year. The following are examples of reasons to be excused from workbond:
o Active military duty
o Services to the shooting sports (ie club officer, junior coach, etc.)
o Serious illness or accident
o Special circumstances

If your workbond status changes, contact a club officer, or the Workbond Coordinator. Requests to be excused must be done yearly.
