Anybody know of any places that have animal traps in stock? Not live traps, but the spring types? I'm thinking like a #120 Conibear type, but I want to look 'em over first. Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Murdoch's are all a no. Rather not order online, because sure as hell I'd get the wrong thing.

I'm pretty sure all trapping is illegal in Colorado unless you have an agricultural exemption so finding anyone that would be selling them is probably going to be tough

Oh really? Hell, wouldn't have guessed that.

I should expand on that.. live trapping is legal, all trapping via leg hold traps is illegal.

Yep, idiot voters made a constitutional amendment to make leg holds/body grip instant kill traps illegal in 1996

I've seen them at Sportsman's Warehouse in the Springs.

True. I looked into this months ago when I got interested in trapping. I was pretty disappointed and really wanted to give this a try.

Second that. Sportsman's in the Springs is the only place I have seen them locally.

Just listened to a podcast that was talking about how the average age of those who apply for a trapping license in Minnesota goes up by one year, every year. LOL!

I used to trap in Michigan.. moved out here and sold most of my traps. Gander mtn used to have traps.. i thought the murdochs off santa fe used to have them but havent checked in a while. Pm if you have any questions. F&T trading post is the best place to order from. They may be expensive but awesome costumer service, good people, and im pretty sure none of them worked for McDonalds because my order was always correct.
