View Full Version : PSA: Vote and Check Your Ballot Status
Vote!!! Don't complain if you can't put a stamp on an envelope. Don't listen the polls, vote!
If you have not mailed your ballot in yet, do not put it in the mail, it will not arrive in time. You can drop your ballot off but do not mail it.
If you can't submit your mail-in ballot for any reason, you can vote in person. DO NOT VOTE IN PERSON IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT. Once you submit that ballot, even if rejected, it is your vote.
Equally important, take a moment to check your mail-in ballot status here to ensure your vote is counted...

My wife and I both had our ballots rejected. One signature was invalid (?) the other wasn't signed. Entirely possible one of us forgot that important step.
You have eight days after the election to resolve a rejected ballot. In our case, we are going to the DougCo election office to make sure we are counted.
This link also has your "In Person Voting" info on a tab.
Thanks! Even if this is old info to some, it certainly bears repeating.
I had to leave on short notice and did not have a chance to get into my ballot. Is there any way that I can vote still? I won't be home in time to go in person.

Well shite,
Mailed mine & the wife’s (wink, wink) this morning on the way to an appointment.
Hope I got under the wire as to getting there on time.
DISCLAMER :
The (wink, wink) was meant as a joke. Just thought I would clarify that before some “Femanazi” started spewing verbal diarrhea at me.......

If you are overseas, you can request a ballot by this Friday. Otherwise I'm not sure what can be done. It's too late to get a ballot returned by mail.

Bummer, thanks for checking. There was a lot of stuff I really wanted to vote NO on.

I dropped off our ballots yesterday. Pretty sure they mostly cancel each other out (except for bond/tax issues). [ROFL1]

If you have it with you, send it overnight with FedEx.
Sucks that there isn't a way. Anymore, even if someone was wholly uninformed, they'd be pretty safe blindly voting "no" on everything from here on out.
Yup!
I was a "no" on most of the judges too.
We are getting our rejection letters today. There is supposed to be a signature form we complete and can mail in with a copy of CO ID but we also have the option of taking those forms in person to the DougCo election offices which is what we will do on Monday.
I want to see the ballots accepted by Tuesday!

I signed it as my name appears on my ballot (middle name included), which is not my regular signature, hope it's acceptable, don't recall how I've signed in the past.

I doubt they will check that carefully, as long as you signed you should be fine.
Vote! Trump won, against all odds. Vote! Lets win again!

I hate that they keep releasing vote count and % party vote.
I believe this information should be suppressed until the day after the vote so as to not influence voter turnout one way or the other. Same should be for all elections. Results not released until the day after, not even preliminary results. Maybe not even start counting until the vote is over. It sucks to be in the west and know your presidential vote likely wont matter.
I don't vote until election day, to give the fake news less to speculate on.
Not sure it matters, but I would rather they spout their baloney with no idea that I am yet to vote.

I’ve already seen at least 1 homeless centers with democratic posters all over. If that’s how they do it across the state then we have no hope.
Thanks op, mine was rejected because of signature, went to the election office to fill out a form. It was sorta sad that only 1 person there (out of 4) knew how to take care of Filling out the form

Are you saying a person who has failed at the most basic responsibility a human being has would vote for the worst candidates and stiff us all with the consequences?
I'm shocked!

What the heck ?
Mailed Wednesday morning and is already accepted and will be counted ? Even with my stroke affected Signature ?
I would have thought it would take until at least Monday to get there, then be rejected for the chicken scratch signature.
Guess the dumbacrats voted for me and what is best for me....
I have mailed letters across town several times and it has taken 4 days to get there. You think the Post Office has improved services that much ? Not likely.
Well, we submitted our signature forms in person with ID and were told everything was good BUT our ballots are still showing as rejected. Kind of unsettling.
Apparently they have eight days after the election to finish all the housekeeping. I don't think in this climate anyone would accept the vote changing after today so I'm not sure a vote counted that late means much.
Dropped off, checked, accepted. :)

Dropped mine off yesterday at about 2 PM. Any idea on how long it takes for it to be accepted?

It would only matter if we get into a Florida circa 2000 situation.
Both of our ballots are in and will be counted.
Thanks for posting up the link.

Yup which is entirely possible.
Clinton had Colorado by 86K on day of election and 136K after. That's not a lot of people in a state with 5.5M.
Checked ours. We're good.
Checked mine just now. Says it counted. Nice. Hopefully I voted for or against the right people and issues.
Dropped off like 8pm last night, I only show as mailed?
