I've gotten these:

H2267B BULK (.224) 22 CAL 55 GR Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail W/C $82.00/1000

http://wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=1940&dir=278|281|293|324|696

in the past and liked them. Is there some other hot deal out there for a 55g plinker bullet?

that's about the same price locally at the gunshow... or at Dad's reloading... but a decent price either way...

Powder Valley has Winny $77/1k
Cabelas has Remmy $82/1k

Wideners also has 62 grain Mil-Spec bullets: (lead instead of steel version of the SS109)
http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=7436&dir=278|281|727
$78/1k

Anbody else remember just 2 years ago buying 1000 for $25? Glad I stocked up.

I know of package deals:
1000 pieces of sized, trimmed and primer crimp removed mil brass, 1000 55grain fmj bullets for $219.... $253 for live primed.
These use to be $75 live primed.... oh, those were the days.
