... when I resent all my older, non-networked devices which force me to wander about the house setting them back an hour.
Why can't my: stove, microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock, thermostat, car and desk or wall clocks all synchronize and update for the time change like my phone, computers, watch, security system, tvs, streaming boxes, game consoles and networked security cameras do?

IT SHOULD BE THE DAY YOU CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN YOUR SMOKE ALARMS!!!!!
It should be the day you write your elected officials and have them get rid of such stupidness!

After Daylight Savings Time, the process of changing the time has to be reversed:

I like the way AZ stays on MST year round. I would vote for that if it were to come up.

An actual Nazi could get into office if the main plank of their political plan was to eliminate daylight savings.

As if those details ever stopped most of society with trailers...

I could agree with that.

More like... Spring Ahead, Fall Behind
I think we should propose that the children (OUR FUTURE) come up with a solution.
If you want more daylight after work, shift your schedule. Making the whole country shift because you want extra daylight after work during the summer isn't the answer.

Shifting a work schedule is not an option for like 90% of the country, so also not an answer.
I don't necessarily like when it is dark early, but I don't necessarily like when it is too cold or too hot for a few months either. People can deal.

Why do we even change the clocks? It was a stupid idea in the late 20th century and is positively moronic in the 21st.
90% of the country is already shifting their work schedule, they're just covering for the shift by shifting the clock.
Newsflash: The amount of daylight on any given day doesn't change because we change the clocks.
I see some idiots in Europe and the US are now proposing to go on DST "permanently". That's equivalent to just changing timezones but still dumber than dirt. Either stay on Standard Time and have schools and businesses bump their operating hours up an hour or better yet, have everyone worldwide just go to Universal Time Coordinated (aka Greenwich Mean Time but the Frogs don't like basing the clock on an English standard) and stop even bothering with time zones.

Or, just go back to the farmer's clock - the sun!
Up at sunrise, to bed at sunset.
No clock, no problem.
Why did I flashback to the Battlestar Galactica vs. the rest of the Colonial fleet while reading the base note?

I've been off my "early to bed, early to rise" schedule for a while, and it makes a noticeable difference in how one feels.
ETA:
Meant to imply that I feel better when I get to bed early, and get up early.

My alarm clock was apparently made before the last time they dicked around with the DST dates. So a week early it changed the time on me. Messed me up... now I have to find a new alarm clock that doesn't light up the whole room when on the dimmest setting.

You're just not hanging out on enough RV boards.
They probably the down some 1/4" ply to firm things up.
