With all these stupid "I identify as" options, how about what gun do you identify as? [Flower] I like the M1 Garand. Heavy, reliable, old but still can get the job done... [ROFL3]

I’d be a Jimenez .22. Small, pocket sized, mostly ineffective if it even works, really only good for Saturday nights and easily discarded.
Winchester 1873 in .44-40. Old, slow, cantankerous, but still dangerous...

Marlin 336, 30-30: archaic, a bit essentric for these times, hasn't changed much through the years. ...and likes to be in the bush.

88 mm Flak cannon, high velocity, versatile.

I'm cheap but don't look that cheap.
I have a safety that is never used.
The older I get, the less I want to work.
I only like getting a little dirty.
My barrel is threaded so I keep waiting for good things to happen, but they don't.
All the girls laugh when I drop the mag.

Yes, M1 Garand is THE all time favorite of mine and in .30/06 of course.

Colt 1911... I feel like I've been thru a couple of wars, well worn finish, heavier than the modern, trendy stuff, parts are a little loose but still work. Maybe not quite as collectible.

So like a Lady Smith?
I’m a Winchester 1886 45/70.
Old, sexy and packs a punch.

Colt Peacemaker.
"Dying ain't much of a living, boy".
Glock 19.
Short, thin build, not gonna win any beauty contests, but at least I'm reliable.

Even with bakelite it's still just a fancy name for an AK-47.

As I originally posted & then edited, I've only ever had an ar15 so I guess I'm it.
<--- identifies with rarities e.g. unicorns & since I DID get to pet a mp7 recently maybe that's my spirit firearm. Yep, got pictures too. : P

I indentify as an ole Mossberg pump shotgun. Because damn near every “Poor White Trailer Trash Redneck” has one, and it only comes out of the bedroom closet for three reasons, when there is trouble, when they are drunk or when a deer is spotted down the road.... But mostly for a combination of the latter two....
