Certain serial ranges are not drop safe:

Does anyone know what milling that dot in the magwell would do?

That is just a mark that they would add to let you and them(Walther) know that the recall has been taken care of. It has nothing to do with the actual recall repair just an indicator that his has been taken care of. Hope that helps

I signed up for the recall but will have to call Walther to get the shipping slip. The website was not playing nice.

According to Walter forums, it opens as a pop-up and is getting blocked by some browsers.

I haven?t checked my serial number yet to see if I?m affected.

Mine is affected in it too. Got the error on the shipping label and it closed the tab. Re-opened the tab (I'm in Chrome). Got the blocked pop-up error. Told Chrome to allow pop-ups and the shipping label opened right up.

Finally got the shipping label to come up. PPS is off to Arkansas!
