We're having Thanksgiving on the farm outside Palisade. A nice break from the land of ice and snow.

For those who eschew the traffic and crowds on Black Friday, make it Fresh Air Friday. Get out and enjoy a picnic with your Thanksgiving leftovers in one of the 41 Colorado State Parks. Admission is free on Friday. We plan a walk through Connected Lakes in Grand Junction.

I'll add my wishes for a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Our family dinner will be on Friday this year as my older son is on duty until Friday morning. His wife and munchkins will visit him at the firehouse tomorrow.
