Three laws in particular combined to stack the deck against Republicans. First came the Motor Voter law (https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180AB1407). This meant that as soon as any California resident acquired or renewed his driver?s license or state ID, he would be registered to vote automatically. Second, the state legislature authorized counties automatically to send absentee ballots to voters (https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160SB450), even if they had not requested those ballots. Third, the rules governing ballot custody were changed so that anyone could turn in absentee ballots (https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=201520160AB1921), not just the actual voter.

Note the word "resident", not "citizen".

I've already ditched my GOP registration, I'm unaffiliated or whatever.

The opportunities presented by these three laws were fully exploited by Democrats. According to a Republican campaign worker who operated in one of the Orange County congressional districts where an incumbent Republican was narrowly defeated by a Democratic challenger, for a week prior to November 6, the Democrats had over 1,000 people on the ground, going door to door, collecting ballots. Armed with precise voter information, they only knocked on the doors of registered Democrats, and in thousands of cases, they actually collected the ballots and brought them to a polling center for the voter.

This activity is called "vote harvesting". My theory - More than likely the doors they knocked on hadn't voted yet or weren't going to vote but when the campaigner shows up at your door and says "Hey, it only takes a couple of minutes, and here I'll help you", well I'm assuming you can add 2+2 so you know the result. I think this activity is highly unethical but we're talking about the (D) here, they support rape if the right person is doing the raping (see Bill Clinton).

If you don't vote (D), and you think your vote matters, in a state election anyway, you might want to rethink that, not that the communist SecStates won't "fix" the national vote in their states too.

So just crickets on what is happening in North Carolina?

I'm curious to see what the real results are from there. The outrage while present, was tepid at best, having since slid off the map. There's still more media focus on the GA election/ voter suppression. Which i find humorous as (according to all involved) was a record turn out in the state.

I'll not be surprised if the entire 2020 election process is taken to court, no matter who wins.
Possibly leading to (IMO) the next step in the Soap box, Ballot box hierarchy

If you're so interested in NC why didn't you open a thread on it?

I'm most interested in your ability to ignore the wrong doings of the people you'd more likely vote for, while making the effort to post about the people you wouldn't vote for doing the same thing.

Schumer and Pelosi don't want the wall. Illegal labor is the mainstay in their states.

You didn't answer my question and you didn't even post a link to whatever it is you're yammering on about.

Ugh, looks like there might be an auto play video at this link, which didn't happen when viewed on my phone. Sorry in advance.

I didn't know anything about this until you brought it up.

I'm not so biased that I wouldn't want to know about it.

Dowless, who worked for the Harris campaign as a chief strategist, has been accused of holding onto more than 800 absentee ballots ahead of the May primary elections, according to an affidavit.

Kenneth Simmons, a Republican, said in the affidavit that he spoke with Dowless during a GOP meeting. During that time, Dowless admitted he had more than 800 ballots with him, Simmons said, according to The News & Observer.

Dowless allegedly said he wouldn’t turn in the ballots “until the last day because the opposition would know how many votes they had to make up.” But Simmons said he was concerned the ballots would never be submitted at all.

Isn't that is the same kind of crap that happened in Broward County, Florida.

All the voting fraud participants need to have a fair trial followed immediately by a first-rate hanging. Unacceptable from any party.

Fair enough. Carry on.
