View Full Version : Mile High Stadium
Just a heads up that the posture is very antagonistic.
Two rows of security you have to pass, and the second row is xray machines.
Thay have a clear bag policy, where you have to make it easy to "search you."
The lines at the gate(s) were really long.
I felt very unprotected.
The game itself was fun.

I would expect antagonism, every employee is probably getting shit for the goddamn kneeling and those poor guys running security get to hear it all.
The kneelers need to get out on the field by themselves, take the insults and booing but they're pussies so..........
I hope they lost.

Yeah...carrying at an NFL game is one thing I can scratch off my list of Things To Worry About. I'll never, ever, set foot in any stadium to watch an NFL game. That league could fold and everyone in it could wind up living under a fucking bridge as far as I'm concerned.

Nothing like being forced to prove you are not a criminal. [facepalm]
And the security theater continues to the next act. We're from the NFL and we are here to protect you... [fail]

Yeah, nothing like being treated like a criminal just so you can enjoy the privilege of paying way too much money to watch a bunch of spoiled rich man-boys play a children's game after they make sure to let you know they hate you, your race and your country. [beatdeadhorse]
My wife and I are in agreement since the Performing Arts Center started searching folks on the way in, that we would no longer go to places that make themselves a soft-target/kill box anymore. Good news is we can work on our rainy day fund now.
I like watching sports, but I try to give them the least of my money as possible, it is all false-tribalism anyways.

As I understand it, the Performing Arts Center policy also forces off-duty police officers to disarm and secure their weapons. Pretty wild. Didn't see any police or armed guards there in case something did go down.
