I bet the dinosaur museum in Woodland Park would pay nicely for some of those in their gift shop.

Yeah, that's big time sellable ... especially smaller versions in thinner wood or even plexiglass. Very very cool, lucky kids.

Go down to the Children's Museum and see if they will sell them for you.

Man I want a CNC machine. With a laser engraving head. Both of which are really hard to justify as one man with a hobby. Amazing work!

Says the guy with more 10mm pistols than most people have guns, not to mention the NFA stuff. Just do it.

25-30 pounds I'd say.

Brilliant.

What's next, a Brontosaurus, Stegosaurus or a plain old reptile Pterodactyl?

Wooly mammoth!

We had several of these wooden dinosaur skeleton models when my son was young. Ours were only about a foot tall. When you posted up the upsized version of the ones we used to have I thought it was the coolest idea. My kid enjoyed the small ones but he would have shit little red apples if he had anything close to the scale you?re doing them in.

Once again, excellent job and great idea.

Your kid is lucky to have such an awesome dad.

Great to see the awesome parenting and creativity. I’d also check with rock shops if you were trying to find outlets to sell them. The one in Nederland seems big on dinosaurs.

Irving

What is the wood used?

Petrified log from the Pleistocene era. It's hell on the bits.

More silliness. Turns out the kids have more fun with them when they're smaller. He's calling the playroom Jurassic World now.

Tim K

We're trying to figure out the best way to go about selling them. May be just as simple as creating a web site or adding on to the one where we sell the secret gun shelves.

What about the dino museum up in Woodland?

I would probably do all of those things you've already thought of, as well as approach the gift shops of any museums, especially the Nature and Science Museum in Denver.
