One person was taken into custody immediately at the scene of the crash and search dogs helped officers track down another suspect. Authorities actively searched for a third suspect for several hours but by daybreak they scaled back the search.


The third suspect could be armed, and the sheriff's office said on Twitter they will be doing a "thorough investigation" in their attempt to capture that person.

"There was a shotgun in the Impala when it was stolen which is currently unaccounted for. It is unknown if the third suspect is armed at this time," they tweeted.

The only shop in Castlerock I know of is DCF. Hopefully they get the 3rd suspect asap!

We had an attempted break in last night. You probably heard about the chase and apprehension of two suspects on the news. Our new security systems worked very well.... now hopefully they throw the book at these suspects and send them to prison for a long time. Much thanks to the police for a job well done!

Yeah DFC and Jackson Creek Armory. It was at Jackson Creek where the shitbags were spotted and the chase was on.

Chase ended not far from the house. Hope they catch the 3rd guy.

A small shop in Aurora was also hit last week. No details but looked like smash n grab tactics. These thieves need to hang.
