Why the fuss over funds to build barriers, walls or fences to aid in overall southern border security? Politics!

Despite what you have and mostly likely have not heard, the southern border and security threats are real, and depending on where along the southern border quite dangerous. The soft underbelly that is being exploited by our enemies.

Cannot figure out why our political class feel a need to ignore this threat? Politics!

I do not believe for a minute that this is about a wall or border security. When my team wants X, the other team rejects X. When the other team wants X, our team rejects X. Obviously most politicians love guns and walls. They spend lots of our money and contributors money buying both to protect themselves.

This current shutdown is a large game of chicken to see who swerves first.
