Looking for ranges that accept children as shooters. I have 3: 6, 7 and 11 years old. The 11 year old isn't usually hard to get out to most ranges but finding places where I can teach the basics to the 6 and 7 year old is a PITA. They're both conscientious, respectful of the weapon they are holding and can recite the rules by memory. Difficult to find a place that lets them shoot, even if I always have a hand on whoever has a weapon and watch them like a hawk. Thinking of just going on a drive through the forests southwest of denver and looking for a place we can hike into.
Shooter Ready has laser guns. Might look into that. Simulated range time is better then no range time.

We at Silverbullet would let them shoot under the following conditions:
They must be able to reach over the benches (about the height of a kitchen table)
They must be CONSTANTLY supervised : one adult with each kid when in the range-if you have a kid in the range you may not shoot, your attention MUST be at all times on the kid.
We have a waiting room with view of the range for the other kids to wait for their turn.
If you would like to shoot as well, bring a second adult with you so they can take care of the kids.
We only charge a range fee to the actual shooters, if it is one adult monitoring two kids, and the adult does not shoot, only two range fees will be charged, no charge for the adult.
Come on in!
I would try the Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek State Park. It is an outdoor range so pick a warm day.

Probably a little far for you but Shoot Indoors in Broomfield will allow kids to shoot. Monday's kids shoot free with a paying adult also.
