Feinswine and other Dems have already introduced a new AWB going after cosmetics and features that also bring in many semi-autos.

I think that she is asking for so much extra stuff that she knows will not fly for two reasons:
1) To appease the commies in her party that want total disarmament of the citizen militia
2) To ask for a compromise and through out most of it to get some of it passed into law.

You know, 'cause we have to do something to keep those nasty special features influencing the firearms to go on killing sprees. If the rifles did not look so scary, they would not go out and commit mass murder! Makes perfect sense, right?

Here is the bill

https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/66/text?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22Sen.+Feinstein%22%5 D%7D&r=6&s=5

I read it. There are a couple things that are silly. Sillier that the whole thing, that is.

They are including semi-automatic pistols.

“(D) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following:

“(i) A threaded barrel.

“(ii) A second pistol grip.

“(iii) A barrel shroud.

“(iv) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip.

“(v) A semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.

“(vi) A manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when unloaded.

“(vii) A stabilizing brace or similar component.

Item IV- What does this mean?
Item V- Isn't there a full auto 9mm Glock?

Why in the hell would it matter how heavy it is, especially when the heavier the worse?

IV is a way to specifically get rid of AR pistols. If the mag goes anywhere other than the pistol grip, then illegal.

The Glock 18 is a full auto version of the Glock 17.

The weight thing is also to get rid of AR pistols.

Ahh yes, in that context it makes more sense.

The Glock 18 is a full auto version of the Glock 17.

So that would mean the 17 is illegal. Pending passage of the bill which is very unlikely.

They're just C&P the original 94 bill. Olympic Arms introduced the OA-93 AR pistol. I believe the entities that be weighed it and came up with a weight lower than the pistol. SO.. OA after the 94 bill was passed introduced the OA-94 which was the same thing only with, are you ready.......................a shhit load of holes drilled in the lower to bring it under that weight .

However thanks to the introduction of polymer lowers, i believe that number will not matter.

By that thinking, then all Glocks will be considered illegal, because they are basically all semi-auto version of G18 that shoot different rounds.

If we?re splitting hairs, the 17 isn?t a semi auto version of the 18. The 18 is a full auto version of the 17.
