I have an old, approx 65 yrs when my parents bought it for my older siblings, George Steck upright piano that needs a new string and to be tuned. I'm on the south end of the Denver metro area and looking for a good, reasonably priced tuner who can get this squared away. Appreciate any recommendations, thought I'd try here before I reach out to stores. Thanks.

I don't know anyone up in that neck of the woods, but if it's older than 50 years... please make sure they are checking the sound board and other maintenance (felts, hammer action, etc) while they replace the wire and tune... Replacing a wire in an older piano can cause more problems if not done correctly.

We used a guy from Springs, Larry Cook, 7196491637. He did a very good job on our upright.

We used a guy that my mom uses for hers . . . seemed to do a good job. I'll see if I can track down the contact info.
