Handling our recent large shipment has created a BUNCH of empty crates that are now standing out in the yard here.
If anyone wants to drive over here during the week and collect a few, they would be welcome to them.
They are taking up too much room.
I didn't note anything really unusual, just military crates and those big plain wood ones (shown on our FaceBook page).
We will not ship these!
In another week or so these will start to be reduced/removed.

Make sure you come by the front door and check in before entering our yard!
My crew is outside right now disposing of bad pallets, etc.

I did not see any on face book, but- I did see where they are located at in the Springs.

Very interested in some of these. Will see when/how I can get off of work early to come by there.

I thought you had a sign on your front door saying you can't stop by without an appointment. It's stopped me from coming by on a whim just to say hello.

FaceBook photos, a couple of weeks ago.
Here is some of what we have...
No pics of the green and black wood boxes.

We don't have a showroom, so signs indicate employee entrance.
You will have to ring the bell to be let in.

Consider this an invite to shoot at Whistling Pines Gun Club West (https://whistlingpinesgunclub.com/) (on Garden of the Gods) as my guest. :)

Next two weeks are tight, but doable. PM me if interested.

Yesterday & today my warehouse crew is working out in the yard storing away material.
After we get done with that we have a bunch of pallets to dispose of.
Next we start breaking up crates to go into the roll off dumpster.
The smaller wooden chests just get thrown in, we will keep some of the mid size crates, those large plain wood ones will get broken up.

I do appreciate these being put to use rather than being trashed by us.

The weather on Wednesday was "memorable"!
That was Erik (Operations manager) who you met.
Not sure who else from the warehouse assisted.
If you need more crates (large and small) we still have them available.

Oops. Poor name recall kept me out of politics.

Time permitting, I would like to stop in for another small crate on Friday. They work great as a Toy chest for my toddler.

No worries about names!
Glad you have found a good use for the wood boxes.
The large ones might make a good outdoor playhouse or fort with a bit of work.
If you want to stop by again, we will be here all day.
Yard gate usually gets locked about 5PM.

About all the big unpainted wood crates are gone now.

Free to anyone making the effort to come collect them.

We have been handling material and now have EVEN MORE wood crates out in the south yard!
This includes those tall plain wood crates that one gent used to make a play house and were suggested for chicken coops!
A couple of green wood crates are marked AMD-65.. once a 40ft roll off hits the yard these will be gone for good.

We are sorting and organizing material onto pallets.
In the process we are emptying out wood crates.
They are stacking up in our south yard.
This may be a good week to come by and take some home, NO CHARGE!

OK, today we hashed out the clean up dates.
The 40ft roll off will be in the south yard early next week.
All the bad pallets and unneeded wood boxes will be thrown in.
After that no more crates!
This is the last chance for a long while.

Bring your truck or trailer and a friend to help load.
The weather looks decent so this may be a good time to come by and take some crates home.
We are here Monday thru Friday, 9AM til 3:30PM.
Most of what we have in the south yard lacks a lid, or has a broken lid.
The lidless wood South American ammo crates look to be a good size for flower boxes!

Friday morning we have a 53ft semi of pallets to unload.
I would suggest coming by later in the day as the south yard will be busy for a couple of hours.

That would be perfect, calling ahead is a good idea.
We have trailers to unload on Friday, Saturday and most of the day on Monday.
Monday will probably not be a day for a visitor in the south yard.
These shipments are why I wanted some crates gone as there will be more empty ones soon.

Thursday will be busy with more deliveries.

Since it is now August I should once again mention that here at APEX Gun Parts I have a good amount of wood crates and boxes in our south yard, more now than when I posted in May.
We did have an employee who took some of the larger ones home back then and made them into elevated gardens.
These are FREE to anyone who wants to come by during the week and pick them up.

The past few weeks the people in the sorting shop have been working thru many crates of parts.
So now we have more empty crates in our south yard.
AS I did my end of day rounds I noted that 2 of those crates originally contained rifles.
One is marked "AMD65" and the other is marked "MD63".
Because they were full of parts they have none of the wooden inserts that separated the guns when stored, but the holder guides are mounted on the insides.
They are free if anyone wants to come by with a truck during the week and collect them.
We also have some of the big Goryunov carriage mount crates.
Just call Customer Service first so we would expect to see someone in the yard.

OK, the people who sort products have been hard at work the past few weeks.
That means I have a bunch of boxes and crates available for anyone who wants them.
Right now the majority are here at 3105 North Stone Ave, stacked in the south yard.
There is everything from wood ammo boxes, rifle crates and SG43 Goryunov machine gun crates.
We also have a bunch of other ones up the road at warehouse #2 and #3.
I would rather find the ones in the south yard a home before we have to move them up by the warehouses.
If interested, call my Customer Service 719-481-2050 and arrange a day / time to swing by with a truck and help yourselves to the FREE wood boxes and crates.

We had a gent from out of state call Customer Service and then stop by today and select crates in a nice range of sizes.
Filled his truck bed with 6 of them.
He brought cargo straps to secure everything properly.
We set them all on a pallet and used the forklift to load his truck.
After he left I was surprised to see an AMD-65 marked crate still in our south yard.
