I've been reloading for my AR-15 for a few years and never really found the need for a chronograph. I just recently purchased a 6.5 Creedmoor and all the reloading equipment to go with it. I had plans on buying a chrono but I went over budget on this new project. Do you guys know of any range that offers a chrono rental?

From what I've seen from loaning out my chrono, renting a chrono would effectively be a 33%+ chance of buying one.

Yhea, I always tell people "Pick a spot on the berm that's in the middle of the chrono screen openings and then forget about the chrono; simply get into a bullseye mindset and shoot that spot."

When they hit the screens I'll ask "What were you shooting at?" and the answer is almost always "I was aiming through the screens."

The key is to pick a spot, shoot that spot and forget about the chrono.

Now I have a Labradar (https://mylabradar.com/). Problem solved.

Do they allow non-members to rent the labradar? It seems if space is available, they let non-members shoot.

Any idea what the rental charge is? I cannot find any info on their website about the labradar.
