I'm looking at getting my RSO cert. What's the average RSO pay at ranges here in SoCo for NRA bRSO certified persons?
TIA for any info.
Wait. I am supposed to get paid for this shit?

I have day dreams of quitting my job and hanging out at the range all day.

You can do that...but you need to have another source of income; like lottery winnings.
Every single range I've ever been to in my life is in desperate need of a food truck, so if you slightly shift your idea of hanging around the range all day, I think you can make this work!

Now I'm really confused. Food trucks need RSOs?

If the tacos don't come out fast enough, or correct? Perhaps...

He said he wanted to spend all day at the range and get paid for it. Only way I see that happening is to run a delicious food truck.

If I did it for a month would I make enough to buy a PovertyPony?
A gut truck at cheyenne mountain would make a killing during the weekend.

Couldn't tell you.
I've never been willing to spend less than 4 months salary on a lower...
:D
I recently reached out to a match director about getting a mobile atm at a large match. I think that paired with a food truck would be a great situation. Problem is that a food truck probably has even better locations during the weekend. A guy with a food cart like in Denver would probably do pretty well. I used to insure a few of those guys and they were always only insured for $5,000 for the cart, including food. I bet if someone were to invest the money, they'd easily make it back in a year, assuming they wanted to sacrifice their weekends.

Yep, I was going to the range or out shooting fairly regularly after my ankle was healed enough to walk a little bit on. Had to curb and cut out shooting activities. I couldn?t afford to restock ammo, fill the gas tank in my truck and make the mortgage payment.

Humm, I know a guy that had a hotdog cart and his wife refused to tow it to “their corner” by a public pool after about a month...... I wonder if he still has it....
What do you Irving, you tow the ATM, I’ll tow a hotdog cart and only take cash and we both sling dogs & share expenses and profits. We’ll just have to pick larger matches and or ranges to set up at......
I feel like every machine gun shoot and state match of any kind would be good fun. Probably wouldn't pay for mentioned investments on their own, but if you're going to be there anyway...

So the "shoot the target, and have a hot dog" concept really could be an option?. I think it's badass.

A Food Truck is way outside my wheelhouse, and I agree it probably would make money. I don't know that I could vend wieners to people all day and not run afoul of people's sensibilities.
Well you could combine the food truck and a mobile pot shop with a shooting gallery and an ATM. RSO only need apply.

Seems like 10-12 an hour is what the internet says.
