I received a notice in the mail about "hepatitis C" testing from the VA. Anybody else get this notice ? Specifically mentions veterans born between 1945 to 1965.

My research shows the VA has cut a deal to procure an insanely expensive medication to cure this viral liver disease.

So if you are a veteran, you may want to contact the VA if you think you have this disease. This is extremely important if you are a Vietnam veteran and received a blood transfusion.

I got it. I'm gonna go ahead and get tested even though I have been before. Doc needs to draw blood at my next appt anyway. Wife says it's a good idea.

They sent me a notice and it's posted at the VA here. I have to go through a lot of still boxed paperwork. Need to locate my inoculations card among other things.
