noticed this after i picked it up, but does the rear area of the slide/frame look right to you guys? this is a newer sig 227 ase. I've got a couple of other sigs that have this, where the slide isnt flush to the frame, but this is at least 2x more pronounced than the others. Not sure if this is this a design or quality issue? how shitty do your tolerances have to be to end up like this and what type of process are you using where some can be flush and others like this?

anyone else have something like this?

I think I had a SAS model that was similar. Maybe not quite that extreme. I?m down to one P series right now and the fit is pretty good on mine.

That’s pretty extreme. I’m guessing it’s purely cosmetic, but still surprising based on the various Sigs I’ve owned.

Google image searching "P227 Elite" is see several that look similar to your gun and several that are almost flush.
