View Full Version : Help me pick my next PS4 game?

I am lucky if I can get through 1 game a year currently. The last 3 I played were Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and just recently got to the epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2. The epilogue starts out so tedious that I think I'm done with RDR2.

So, I am considering what to pick up next. I don't tend to appreciate stealth games, and on-line is a little difficult because I often have to hit pause and attend to other matters. These are the what's currently on my short list to play, but I'd love to hear what you think.
Far Cry 5
Far Cry New Dawn
Metro Exodus
Spider Man

I thought Far Cry 4 was more fun than 5, but I play even less than you do so YMMV.

I think if you've never played any, then any will probably be fun. I'm going to springs soon. Want me to bring you my copy of Far Cry 4? I thought it was awesome.

I am waiting for The Division 2 to come out right now.

I did play Far Cry 5, and Far Cry New Dawn. Gotta play Far Cry 5 first before New Dawn. It is kinda continuation of story.
Spiderman was fun for few days, but I returned it to redbox.

FC5 was a great game.... until the updates started coming out. It's absurd when I have to DL 9 gigs worth of updated to the game for online play. I just want to finish the darn campaign but can't unless I DL them.

How about The Long Dark? It's a survival game set in the Canadian wilderness after an EMP type event. Pretty cool single player game. Surprisingly addictive.

-just bought breakpoint off of ebay.

Winter is a great time to play games since I cannot play many outdoor sports.

I was really enjoying it. I didn’t get very far into it though, my second child was born quite a bit early and I put it away temporarily for lack of time. I was thinking about playing it tonight actually...

Good to hear. We have the VR version of whatever latest version of Resident Evil, and now that I have time, I've found that we lost it somewhere. I'm upset.

Sniper Elite 3 is fun for a B+ level game, and I hear good things about 4.

I started playing Days Gone, and that's pretty fun so far.

I came off of playing some amazing games back to back, so its been hard to get into anything lately. I played the following games back-to-back:


Final Fantasy 15
Fallout 4
Red Dead Redemption 2
Kingdom Hearts 3
Horizon Zero Dawn


After that lineup, it's hard to find good stuff...

I did pick up Spiderman and that's pretty good so far.

Thumbs up for MW. Both me and the kid feel they fixed all the isses that were prevelant in the other games.
