Neat! The 1917 model is cool, but I’ve always wanted a 1918 personally. I never seem to have the money when I see one locally though.

Cool collection.

Ive had this one for 20 years.
Have no idea what it is other than a bayonet.

It looks like a M1917 bayonet to me, in great shape too! Depending on the handle, it could be a British P14 bayo, markings will help determine. There were subtle differences and some of the P14 bayos manufactured for Britain were issued to US troops when we entered WWI (weren't enough M1903s to go around).

The Winchester made M1917 bayos are highly collectible and rare. There are also modern counterfeits. The Remington ones are still desirable in good shape.

Great history...

This bayonet will also fit trench shotguns of WWI/II.

Very nice!

I always wanted the knucks, off a 1918 (replica), for a shifter knob.

Mine has stacked cannon balls and a letter M with an arrow going through it.

Its a type 30 Japanese bayonet it seems.
Guess that means it was ment to kneel down and fall on.
While I havent gone to that extent I have drawn blood scratching my back. Haha

Very interesting!

I thought most Japanese bayos had a curved guard but there were some straight ones made later in the war. That pic totally looked like a M1917 when I saw but now that I'm able to compare it looks like that is the case.

Still a really cool piece of WWII history in great shape for age!
