You know that I appreciate that you make these posts, so please understand where I'm coming from with my question.
Are you as tired of having to make these posts as I am of having to read them? I seldom comment because I have no words that would be adequate. It seems it's a very rare week when you're not having to make another of these threads. When will the insanity end?
My son-in-law is awaiting his chance to attend the Academy in Colorado Springs (likely this summer) with the intent to hire onto CSPD upon his graduation. While I'm proud of his choice, I'm also fearful of all of the violence towards the law enforcement community these days. God bless all who choose the life in public safety.
Rest peacefully Deputy Thompson; your watch has ended.

You are not alone.
R.I.P. to those that keep us safe and don't come home at the end of the day.

Yes, I hate posting these, which is often multiple times a week. And generally no words have to be spoken.
