If I owned a little independent gas station/convenience store ... every time I saw one of these stories about some clerk at a corporate owned store defending himself (and especially if he gets fired for it) I'd hunt the guy down and offer them a job.

My entire staff would end up being CCW licensees with a history of shooting at dirtbags.

$10 says that these guys will make better than average employees in general.
