I have a client that had her concrete done in December. Unfortunately the guy didn?t check the weather and some rain/snow came down and water ran off the concrete before fully drying so now there?s water streaks everywhere. Any way to fix the issue?

or run a floor scrubber over it

Muriatic acid mayy help. There are a ton of concrete stains and sealers on
The market as well.

Did the rain take off the top later? If so, she might need to have it ground or another slurry coat added.

Grinding ir came run $1 to $7 a sq ft, depending on the surface desired.

A slurry coat might not be very durable, so might not be a good idea for a driveway, if that's where it is.

I'd try some sort of concrete etcher like Jamnanc suggested. There are all sorts...even some biodegradable varieties.

So this is what's going on.

That looks to me like concrete sealer that has run over. Check with the finisher first because it's his responsibility. If the concrete itself isn't eroded, a light application of muriatic acid with a stiff bristled brush should even it out. Then have a new coat of sealer applied, or a stain and sealer like Jamnanc suggested.

Agreed.

As bad as it sounds, drano in a spray bottle will fix that.

So this is what's going on.

That looks like the curing compound washed off. If it's that, it's just colored wax that can be power washed off. It will also fade away in the summer as it melts and the wax evaporates away. The white will then wash away with weather.

An alchohol wash or degreaser could also remove the wax.

It doesn't look like harm was done to the surface from any running water. The wetting likely helped in curing the surface making it more durable.

Btw, concrete doesn't dry, it hydrates. Cement reacts with water and grows crystals to bind the sand and rock.

Yes on the Muratic Acid. You can buy it at Homedepot out in gardening. Dont buy the kind that PHs your pool. Buy the concrete/brick cleaner. Also buy a deck scrubbing bruch and handle. A bucket if you dont have one.

Wet your whole driveway with the hose before putting any acid on. This keeps the acid from penitrating further than the very surface. Scrub the shit out of it evenly. Wash the acid off every 5 to 10 minutes.

Mix the acid about one to one with water. You should get a good amount of fizzing and bubbles. I swear they put soap in the acid from Homedepot.

No acid. That is not efflorescence (CaOH) leaching from the concrete. Acid will just etch the surface where the wax cure isn't, making it even worse.

It's curing compound, as above, power wash it off, otherwise it will fade on its own
